Martin Watson passed away at
Halifax, Nova Seotia, Saturday,
May 18, 1.874,
He was the husband of Barbara
(Publicover) Watson of Halifax,
father of Ronald at home, son of
Mrs. Mabel Watson, Parkhill and
the late Martin Watson.
Graveside committal service
and interment was held at Mar's
Hill cemetery Friday, May 24.
Before joining the navy he lived
on the 12th concession of
McGillivray Township.

Cindy attended an evening in
honour of Mrs. Jack Dorman in
passing her R.N.A, course
recently,
Mrs. Earl Lewis arrived home
from St, Joseph's Hospital last

A combined Mission Service
was held at Elimville United
Church on Sunday for Elimville
and Thames R9ad. A film was sh-
own in the Sunday School room
followed by a panel discussion,

Routly was the moderator.
A service followed upstairs.
Those presenting the gifts of

left by plane last Friday for
Ottawa, While there they enjoyed
a bus tour of the city, and a boat
trip up the Ottawa River and
visited Parliament Buildings.

twelve years ago of Parry and

Authority

centre. Other possible uses are
for day use, woodlot
management, erosion control
demonstrations.
In the Authority's recent tree
planting program 10,000 trees
and 1,400 shrubs were planted on
Authority properties and 40,000
trees on privately owned lands.
The Authority is again
operating a Sweep program this
summer and most of the staff has
been hired.
Jim Rowat is technical
program supervisor and 'Jim
Cousins, supervisor and co-
ordinator of the labour force.
Warren Knight is a land use and
park planner. Wehdy Martindale
and Gordon Shlegel are in charge
of outdoor education; Carol Ann
Doig will handle public relations
and Mary Ellen Gingerich is
recreational co-ordinator at
Parkhill. Dan Wilson is in charge
of wildlife management..
