An error was made last week in
the obituary of the late Charles
Edward Brown. He was the
brother of the late Mrs. Chris
Baumgarten.
Mr. & Mrs. Bill Rammeloo and
Mr. & Mrs. Lorne Devine called
at the Tasker Memorial Chapel at
Blyth, Monday evening to pay
their respects to the family of the
late Jacobus Wayne Rammeloo,
nephew of Bill. He was killed in
an accident on Sunday, April 26,
1974 in his 18th year.

The meeting opened with a
game of musical chairs with 15
Brownies in attendance. Mary`
Watson was the Fairy Queen,
Tawny Owl and Snowy Owl
called the girls into the Fairy
Ring for the Brownie song, Six
songs and Promise,
A relay, putting on and taking
off a coat and trousers was en-
joyed. Brown Owl read a story
and songs were sung during pow-
wow,
Craft time for the past two
weeks has been devoted to
making gifts for Mother's Day.
Brownie Cookie Day will be held
in the Dashwpod area Friday and
Saturday.

and Tawny Owl, Mrs. Jack
Gaiser attended a day long
Guider program at Kirktpn,
Saturday, May 4th where new
outdoor activities and crafts were
taught.
tWMIL Meet
The quarterly meeting of the
Lutheran Women's Missionary
League of Zion Lutheran church
was held with Mrs. Delmar
Miller taking the topic, "A
daughter — a daughter-in-law",
followed by discussion on kind-
ness to family and in-laws.
The League is holding a
clothing drive in May. The Zone
project, of marking New
Testaments for distribution to
friends and acquaintances was
started. Plans were completed
for attending the rally at St.
Peter's Lutheran church,
Stratford, Monday, May 6th.
Besides saving used stamps,
the ladies are collecting
Dominion .store slips for a colour
television for Ritz Lutheran Villa,
Mitchell.
LINK Rally
Twenty-five ladies from. Zion
and Peace Lutheran church
attended the Mitchell Zone
Spring Rally at St. Peter's.

Guest speaker, Rev, Kenneth
Zorn, Kitchener, a former Dash,
wood pastor, took as the topic,
"Are you a powerless or
powerfilled Christian?" He
stated that the 4th largest
religious body had no religion.
Seventy-five percent of
Christians were not sure of their
faith,

he will undergo surgery.

were in Drayton recently, for the
funeral of Mrs. Guenther's
brother-in-law, Charles
McDowell, which was held at the
McCauley funeral home with
interment in Victoria cemetery,
Drayton.
