Church Ladies
The Easter ecumenical
meeting was held in the 'United
church basement with about 50 in
attendance. Mrs. B. Brenner led
a sing song for the opening. Miss
Cox and Miss Hazelwood of
London showed a film, prepared
by Don Gray of C.F.P.L. TV. The
film was of McCormick Home
and Parkwood Hospital, owned
and operated by the Womens
Christian Association, which is
celebrating its centennial this
year.
A duet, Life is Real, not Just a
Dream' was sung by Marlene
Brenner and Pat Kading. The
worship service was from 'The 14
Steps to the Cross'.
Lunch hostesses were Mrs.
Allan Walper, Mrs. Elgin Adams,
Mrs. Carol Allister and Mrs. Joan
Eagleson.
