Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white silk organza featuring a Venice lace square neckline bodice with full shepherdess sleeves cuffed by the same lace. A gathered skirt of organza fell gracefully from the Victorian waistline accented by a satin ribbon, A cathedral veil was attached to her hair by a princess marina tiara, an heirloom gift of her mother which she wore thirty-five years ago on her nuptial day. Sweetheart roses interspersed with, baby's breath and cinched together with white satin ribbon made up her bouquet. A friend of the bride's, Paula Seibert,was matron of honor wearing a red and white dotted EXETER DISTRICT. Ronald Desjardine was best man, while Gerald Weido and Danny Huston were ushers. The music was played by Mrs. Jack Turkheim who also ac- companied the soloist, Elaine Westlake. Dinner and reception followed at Zurich Community Center. The young couple will reside in Zurich. An Open House to honour the couple was held in the Parkhill United church parlours Sunday afternoon when many friends and relatives attended. Mr. and Mrs. Eagleson moved onto the farm where they still reside at Lot 6, Concession 21 of McGillivray township about 55 years ago. They have two sons, Earl and Ralph of Parkhill and three daughters, Mrs. Garnet (Edna) Romphf, Parkhill; Mrs. Ernie (Ferne) Milliken and Mrs. Harold (Helen) Westgate, both of Strathroy. Another daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Alma) McLeod passed away in 1961.
