held in Toronto today, Don

A card party sponsored by the
congregation of St, Patrick's
Church was held Friday evening.
Winners were: ladies, Mrs. Ethel
Schroeder, Centralia, and Mrs.
Percy Noels; men's , Ray
Shoebottom and George Aitkens,
Centralia. An ornamental bird
cage donated by Mrs. Dorothy
Doerr, London, was won by Tom
Kooy. Refreshments followed.
Heber Davis was guest at a
birthday dinner for John Hall of
Ilderton at the Golden Pheasant
restaurant, Thursday.
Cottage service was held at the
home of Mr. & Mrs. Tom Kooy
Sunday. Easter service will be
held in St. Patrick's Church.
Allan Eizenza, Lucan, was
guest with Ian Carroll on Ian's
birthday, Wednesday.
Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis were
Sunday guests with Mr. & Mrs.
Robt. Steele, London.
Brenda Carroll attended a
birthday party for Julie Mugford,
Lucan, Monday after school.

will be attending the birthday

honor of Frank Squire who is
celebrating his 86th birthday.

Association will be sponsoring a
dance in the Lucan Arena April 20
with the Heywood Brothers

Kevin Carter is doing a share
for Bunny Bundle. He has made
and sold Easter crosses and is
selling tickets on a lamb cake
which he will decorate.
Mrs. Arnold Blake was the
winner of the home-made candy
on which Cindy Donaldson sold
tickets.
The Foreign Fillies met
Saturday at the home of their
leader Mrs. Groenewegen where
the girls made and ate Chinese
dishes. They also learned the
Proper way to use chopsticks.
Next and last meeting will be a
party with all three groups and
the members of the Womens
Institute attending,

& Mrs. G. Millson were in London
with Mr. & Mrs. R. Millson
Sunday to welcome home Ken
Millson from Holland where he
spent the winter playing hoCkey.
He was one of two Candians
chosen to play in the All Star
Team that won first place over
five other countries.
