held in the Cbrbett Community
Centre, Friday evening.
A quilt, the wild rose pattern,
made by the ladies of the Corbett
organization was won by Mrs.
J.W. Horner. Mrs. Angeline Scott
sold the winning ticket.
Prizewinners at the euchre
were Mrs. Margaret Lagerwerf,
Muriel Steeper, Lisle Woodburn
and Eric Bullock.

The congregation of St.
Patrick's Church held a
progressive euchre Friday
evening with the three Carroll
families as conveners.
Winners were: ladies' high,
Mrs. C. Rawlings, Lucan; lone
hands, Mrs. Frank Hicks, Cen-
tralia; men's high, Tom Kooy,
Centralia; lone hands, Percy
Noels, Exeter.
The cake draw was won by Jim
O'shea and the lucky cup by Mrs.
Dean'Gibson, Lucan.

Mrs. E. Leanord returned
home Thursday after spending
ten days in Nassau. She reports
beautiful weather and an , en-
joyable holiday.
