ONTARIO'S NEW TAX CREDIT SYSTEM:
2 out of 3
Ontario residents who file
income tax returns this year
will share $300 million
in tax credits.
(Even if they don't pay income tax!)
Families, pensioners, roomers, boarders, the handicapped and others will
benefit. Ontario's newTax Credit System provides for three separate credits,
and here's how they work:
I. People who own or rent (including roomers and boarders) may share
in the Property Tax Credit.
/. People Who fill out a Federal income tax return may share in the Saks
Tax Credit.
J. People over 65 may share in the Pensioner TAX Credit.
You must fill out a Federal inconie tax return,
The new purple Ontario Tax Credit Form comes attached inside it. So even
if you don't pay income tax, you should still file a Federal income tax return
with the Ontario Tax Credit Form this year.
We want you to get your fair share of Ontario's tax credits.

Life's Clock
The clock of life is wound but
once
And no man has the power
To tell just when the hands will
stop,
At late or early hour,
Slippery road conditions
cause rash of accidents
To lose one's wealth is sad in-
deed,
To lose one's health is more;
To lose one's soul is such a loss
As no man can restore.
The present only is our own,
Live, love, toil with a will,
Place no faith in tomorrow - for
The clock may then be still.

It is a pleasure to advise about
75 young men and women of the
area have joined the Middlesex-
Huron Army Cadet Corps. We
know many of the young folk
were a little disenchanted with
the duties required of them last
Sunday, but we urge them to bear
in mind your cadet corps is still in
the organization stages and to
bear with us for a little longer.
Your committee met with the
C.O. following Sunday's session
and he has advised next Sunday.
March 17 he will have instructors
from the R.C.R.'s, London in
attendance and promises from
here on the cadet corps will be
more interesting and en-
tertaining for all those who really
wish to take a sincere interest in
the cadet movement.
We are presently negotiating
with a bus firm for transportation
to and from Huron Park and you
Will be advised immediately this
is available. Parade time Sun-
clAy, March 17 at 1.00 p.m. all
cadets are requested to be on

in arrears their 1974 dues are
reminded the deadline is March

prior to this date your March

is also laid down by command
and the L.C.B.O. that after

not paid - you are no longer a
member and it will become
necessary that when you attend
at the Legion you may do so as a
signed in guest only,
Believe me Comrades these are
not the rules of your local Branch
of the Legion but that of a much
higher authority than ours. Let's
get those delinquent dues paid up
