Bernard Avery to renovate the former Hedden store property was deferred for a second time due to a lack of parking. Avery had planned to have two commercial offices and four ,apartment units in the building but showed only three parking spots. He brought a letter from the Lucan planning board to Mon- day's council meeting which approved his reduction of the number of apartments, Council will be recommending to the planning board that the application be refused unless at least six parking spots are ob- tained. New Pool Filter Councillor Harry Wraith a member of the arena board told council a new filter system will be installed in the swimming pool this summer at an approximate cost of $6,000.
