very humorous.
The new 4-H leaders were
appointed for the spring project,

Miss Ruth Skinner presented
the Institute with a book in
memory of her mother, the late
Mrs. Everett Skinner.
A committee appointed to
investigate the saving of glass
bottles and papers, is composed
of Mrs. Murray Coward, Mrs.
Howard Pym and Mrs. Elson
Lynn.
Mrs. Emerson Penhale and
Mrs. Dan Coward were con-
veners of the program,
Agriculture and Canadian
Industries. A scavenger hunt was
enjoyed by the members.Films,
Life in North China and At Home
with Avon were shown and an
Advertising slogan contest.

returned Friday night from a six
week visit in Friesland, Holland,
where they visited Mrs.
Kingma's mother, Mrs. E. Talna,
and John's mother Mrs. K.
Kingma, his sister Mrs. H.
Jellesna and brother A. Kingma,
also many other relatives and
friends and neighbours.
Mr. Kingma's mother
celebrated her 86th birthday last
summer and they celebrated
Mrs. Talna's 80th birthday,
Christmas day.

family on the occasion of their
26th wedding anniversary.

Sunday from St. Joseph's
hospital where she had been a
patient.
Nine tables of euchre were in
play Wednesday evening at
Shipka community centre,

Diane and Loriane, Waterloo
spent Saturday with Mr. & Mrs.
Lorne Devine and enjoyed ski-
dooing in the country.
Pred Weiburg returned to
Waterloo with the Latta's for
some winter holidays.
