The annual vestry meeting of
St. James Church was held
Monday evening. Many officers
returned for another year.
Deputy wardens appointed

Mrs. Ruth Hill resigned as
treasurer, after many years of
faithful service, and nominated
Dennis Little, Ken Carter was
nominated chairman of the
cemetery committee and called a
meeting for January 21,

taken to St. Joseph's Hospital
where she is undergoing treat-

Harris brings to the ministry
more than 12 years in the hotel
business, six of them as sales
manager of two large Niagara
Falls (Ont.) hotels.
He is a graduate of the
Hamilton Teachers College and
attended the School of Business
Administration at the Ryerson
Poly technical Institute here.

The first UCW meeting in the
New Year was held in the

Hands and offered prayer.

gave an interesting crinmentary.
