The bride is, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D,T, D'Souza, Bombay, India and the groom is the son of Mrs. Mervyn Grainger, Exeter. The couple will reside in Toronto where the groom is with the RCMP communications section and the bride is a technologist in elec- troencephalography, employed by the Lakeshore Pyschiatric Hospital. 20eeeeze - t c2ceentee October 13 a dance and reception was held at Churchill Community Centre for the marriage of Wendy McQuarrie and Dennis Willert. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McQuarrie, Lefroy, Ontario and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Willert, Grand Bend. The wedding took place October 14 in Churchill United Church. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Victorian style gown with high collar and leg of mutton sleeves. Her veil was scalloped in five tiers with matching headpiece of tiny flowers to match the bodice of the gown. The skirt had a double roll of heavy embroidered lace with a flowing train. She carried a nosegay of orange and yellow gladioli petals in the form of a rose. Maid of honor Susan Saunders wore orange and bridesmaid Florence McQuarrie wore yellow floral chiffon gowns similar to the bride and carried baskets of autumn leaves and matching flowers. The groom was attended by his two brothers, Gary and Rodney Willert and ushers were Ansen McQuarrie and Mark Willert. For travelling the bride wore a navy and white checked suit and the couple took a wadding trip to the east coast. The bridal attendants were similarity attired in floor length gowns of baby blue organso styled with empire waist line and trimmed with white lace and blue velvet ribbon. They wore mat- ching velvet bows in their hair and carried white baskets with an assortment of yellow flowers. The flower girl wore a floor- length gown of white organso trimmed with blue velvet ribbon, She carried a small nosegay of white miniature carnations and red star flowers. Robert Willis, Exeter brother of the groom, was best man and guests were ushered by Rick Geiser, Sudbury and Clarence Toornstra, Hensel], brother of the bride. Junior groomsman was Sam Toornstra Hensel] also a brother of the bride. . For travelling the bride chose a red and black pant suit with black accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. After a wedding trip to Florida the young couple will reside in Exeter.
