The story of Jesus and the man with the one talent may be compared to the way we use or misuse our talent or talents. The reason our Lord singled out the man with the one talent, was because our Lord was concerned for little unimportant people. He picked out insignificant details in them, such as the widow's mite showing us that the small is loaded with possibilities.
