James Murphy said that they have something to attract the whole family, including old fashioned lemonade stand, a milk bar, and apples and cheese for the kids to munch on, and the whole grounds for them to play in. The bazaar is planned to mark the end of the LIP grant which has been operating at the Playhouse. It winds up today (Thursday). Mr. Murphy said, however, that there is still lots of work to do. "We bit off a pretty big chunk of work," he said. "We haven't got it all done, but we will Guests attend baptism event By MRS. All the events and stalls will be in the big barn which is being renovated for the theatre presentations, hopefully for this summer. "The barn willaccommodate an enormous number of people", said Mr. Murphy. Among other things, stalls with potted plants and fresh flowers will be set up; Pat Fletcher and Mrs. Livingstone, Exeter, will run the rummage department or "trifles, treasures and trash"; there will be baked goods and home canned goods; and a demonstration of candle making. There will be an extensive arts and crafts display and Mr. Murphy stressed that although none of the craftsmen are professionsals, they are all local, There will be pottery, and needle work, just to mention a couple and Herman Hodgson will demonstrate his wood carvings, "All of these people are very talented," said Mr, Murphy, "but many of them are too shy to show their work in other places," In addition, there will be a ham dinner, with Mrs. Donna Klopp, Zurich catering; a combined choir from Grand Bend Chur- ches; an auction sale and display of antiques; and some of the actors appearing in this sum- mer's productions will also be on hand. Mr. Murphy expressed the hope that MP Robert McKinley and MPP Jack Riddell will also be in attendance. The bazaar will take place this Sunday starting at noon. Everyone is invited to attend. Mrs, Everard Kerslake is holidaying in England. Mrs. Norman Harburn has been transferred from Seaforth Hospital to the University Hospital, London and is having physiotherapy on her arm, Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Moore, Lindsay, visited recently with Mr, & Mrs. T.L. Scott, and also with his mother Mrs, Esther Moore at Kilbarchan Nursing Home, Seaforth. Mrs. Earl Kick, who is recovering from an operation, is spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. Stuart Traquair, Sebringville. Nola Dow and Lorraine Laing were among the members of Mitchell Glee Club Choir who sang in Knox Presbyterian Church, Stratford Sunday. Staffa "Knitti-Gritties" met at the home of Mrs. John Wallace on Monday to review the work learned in the project, "Sport- swear from Knits," and to make plans for achievement day in Mitchell on Saturday. The choir composed of members of the Sunday School rendered three anthems under the direction of Mrs. William Spence, accompanied by Mrs, Glenn Copeland on the organ and Mrs, Ted Insley on the piano.
