The grades five and six class of
Mrs. Mum in Grand Bend
Public School have exchanged
information books with the grade
five class of Miss Derk in
Edson,Alberta.
They received booklets on
transportation.industries, history
of the school, transportation and

Rev. W. Jarvis, spoke to the
children about the kind of work
that a mother does, and in his
sermon stressed that it is more
by example than by words that
children are taught.
Ladies' Aid
Mrs. John Miller presided for
the May meeting of Cromarty
Ladies' Aid at the home of Mrs.
Thos. L. Scott, Highlight of the
meeting was the roll call, "My
winter project," which resulted
in a display of fancy quilts, a
knitted sweater, a crocheted
poncho, and other knitted and
embroidered articles. Mrs. John
Templeman had the devotions
and Mrs. Mervin Dow gave a
timely reading describing a
stone-picking day on the farm,
During the business it was
decided to buy a few extra dishes,
silverware, and chairs for the
church. The group also decided to
charge 25 cents extra for take-out
dinners at the strawberry supper
