73 KEEP IT BEAUTIFUL
If you're in
the market
for a car loan,
we'll throw in
$25 toward
the plates.
That's right. We'll give you $25 toward your
licence plates when you take out a Terrnplan
Personal Loan on a car at the Royal Bank. As
long as you take out a loan for $1,000 or more of
new money and we approve your application by
June 29th, you qualify for the $25.
You also qualify if you take out a Termplan Loan
for at least $1,000, for any other reason.
Like a vacation, a boat or a travel trailer. If your
application is approved by June 29th, we'll give
you $25. In cash. There are no strings, no catches
and no change in interest rates. We know that
there are many people in the market for money
this spring, and we want to increase our share of
the business. So you don't have to be a Royal Bank
customer to take advantage of this offer.
See your Royal Bank Manager. He'll even
arrange for a chequing account to take care of
the loan repayments. And ask him about our
Money Matters book. It's full of hints on
budgeting and financing for a family. It's yours
free when you come to the Royal Bank.
Do something nice for yourself ...

Large addition planned
to fiberglass industry
One of Exeters newest
manufacturing pla nts in
operation only a few months will
be expanding in the near future.
Walter Peitsch and Karl
Vermaeten, owners of Exe
Fibercraft located at the south
end of town on No. 4 highway are
planning on adding a 5,000 square
foot building as soon as weather
permits in the spring.
The firm is presently
manufacturing recreational
fiberglass products in a building
which was once used by Larry
Snider as an airplane hangar.
One of the specialties being
manufactured by Exe Fibercraft
is the Beluga 10' Spider, This is a
fiberglass fun boat for the true
sportsman and is great for
water skiing. Polyurethane foam
in the hull makes the boat almost
unsinkable,
Walter Peitsch, who is firm
president says "we build more
value into a boat with hand lay-up
fiberglass construction. The
Beluga is not only designed for
beauty, but for safety as well
Peitsch continued "we design
and make all the moulds our-
selves for our various products
and at the moment all the work is
done by hand including the first
application of gelco. We'll go to
spray painting in the new
building,"
Included in the new building in
addition to assembly line space
will be a 50 by 30 foot showroom
to display the locally manufac-
tured products in addition to a
full line of marine and
snowmobile supplies.
Products of fiberglass now
being produced for the home
include kitchen chairs and tables,
A POPULAR BOAT — One of the specialties at Exe Fibercraft is the
Beluga, a 10-foot boat which is ideal for use in waterskiing. It's
lightweight and can be carried on the top of a car. T-A photo.

lounge chairs affording con-
toured comfort, patio furniture in
brilliant colours and kiddies
recreational toys and furniture.
Children's items include slides
and teeter-totters along with
small sized furniture.
In describing the furniture,
Peitsch said "besides being
weatherproof for use in patios
and around swimming pools, the
furniture designs offer your
residential abode a revolutionary
touch of beauty you'll not find at
the neighbours, at least for the
present.
He continued, "the furniture is
really indestructable, You can
leave it out in all kinds of
weather. Frost makes the
fiberglass stronger,"
Mr. Peitsch pointed to the fact
the kiddies playground equip-
ment is durable, light in weight,
easy to clean and withstand both
hot and cold. "This is also true of
our furniture products, Orders
are now being processe& for
restaurants, lounges and resort
facilities,"
Karl Vermaeten, a partner in
the firm has had many years
experience in building boats in
Germany and brings his vast
knowledge to the Exeter firm.
He is a designing engineer and
master mechanic with the ability
to foresee futuristic design.
Walter Peitsch is the former
owner of restaurants in Owen
Sound and Caledonia and the
Derby Dip in Exeter.
Both men purchased homes in
Exeter and have moved their
families here. Peitsch who was
away from Exeter for a year said
he was happy to be back. "I
really missed the community and
it's people."
When the expansion program is
completed the firm expects to
increase their number of em-
ployees to about ten.
