IN MEMORIAM —
GLANVILLE — In loving
memory of our wonderful son
Murray Edward Glanville,
who left us so suddenly 2 years
ago October 24, 1970.
You little thought when leaving
home,
You would no more return.
That you in death so soon would
sleep
And leave us here to mourn
To us you were someone special
Loving, kind and true.
You will never be forgotten Son,
For we thought the world of you.
From the garden of beautiful
memories,
You return to us each day,
Your memory is as dear to us,
As in the hour you passed away
I hide my tears when' speak your
name,
But the ache in our heart remains
the same,
Life goes on, we know it's true
But not the same, since we lost
you
Too dearly loved to ever be
forgotten. Mom andDad

GLANVILLE — In loving
memory of a dearly loved
brother Murray Edward
Glanville who left us all so
suddenly 2 years ago October
24, 1970.
Two long and lonely years have
passed
Since our great sorrow fell,
The shock that we received that
day
No one can ever tell
God gave us strength to meet it
And courage to bear the blow,
There was not time for last
farewells
To none you said goodbye.
You were gone before we knew
And only God knows why
But each time we see your photo
You seem to smile and say,
Don't -dry I'm only 'sleeping —
We will mot again someday.

Consider new
dump entrance
A suggestion .by Carl Fletcher
that a pew entrance be made to
the Exeter dump off Highway 85
was discussed by council,
Monday, with few members
favoring the idea.
Mr. Fletcher, in a letter to this
newspaper, suggested the en-
trance off Highway 83 would be
more conspicuous,and could be a
deterrent to unlawful use as
offenders could be more easily
spotted,
Councillor Ross Taylor said he
had considered the suggestion
and was of the opinion the high-
way entrance could become
littered. He also said people
driving on the highway would
have a view of the unattractive
refuse area unless a roadway was
builtwith curves to hide the view,
"I don't think it's a good idea,"
he said before leaving the
meeting early to spend the
evening with his son who was
visiting prior to moving to
Vancouver,
The matter was broached later
in the meeting and Deputy-Reeve
Don MacGregor said he doubted
if the ministry of transportation
and communications would
permit an access off Highway 83.
Some members noted that a
dump near Clinton is not an eye-
sore and people travelling on the
highway are probably unaware it
exists.
However, Councillor Mery
Cudmore predicted the Highway
83 location may not be as for-
tunate as the prevailing west and
north-west winds would blow
papers from the dump onto the
road.
The final comment came from
Councillor Helen Jermyn. She
urged that no decision be made
until the new gates and signs
detailing dump regulations be
given a trial period.
"Let's see what happens," she
urged.
