Alencon lace trimmed the gown and detachable chapel train, and a silk illusion veil, fingertip length, complemented the gown. A co-ordinated lace cap set off the lace trim, and the bride carried a mauve orchid, Mrs. Diane Keillor, sister of the bride was the matron of honor, She wore a floor length purple dress with silver accessories, and carried a large mauve mum with matching ribbon. Ray Horne, was the best man and Robert Ryckman ushered the guests. The couple took a wedding trip to Northern Ontario. Officiating at the double ring ceremony was Father A. Robert, Parents of the couple are Mr. & Mrs. Ted Geoffrey, Zurich and Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Wilson, Exeter. Wedding songs were sung by Mrs. Darl Rau and her daughters. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor- length A-line gown of white sheer over satin with full length sheer sleeves. The gown was simply trimmed with panels of guipure Swiss lace, with similar lace trimming the high neckline, and the cathedral train. Her floor- length veil fell from a mantilla head-piece trimmed with similar lace. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses with baby's breath and a touch of greenery, Mrs. Rosemary Van Bruaene was the matron of honour, Mrs. Darlene Finkbeiner, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Nancy Denomme was junior bridesmaid. After honeymooning in the Laurentians, the young couple will reside in London where the groom is a student at the University of Western Ontario and the bride is employed at Althouse College of Education.
