A THANKSGIVING MESSAGE
TO RESIDENTS OF HENSALL
AND SURROUNDING AREA
With the passing of the years,
many changes take place in
the Communities - old land-
marks pass away, but many
nostalgic memories r e m a i n.
Such are my thoughts at this
Thanksgiving Season, as I men-
tally review "Portraits of the
Past" and recall the pleasant
enjoyment and sincere friend-
ship always found around the
Jewellery Shop, owned by Mr.
Fred Hess and my late hus-
band George.
Many Hensall residents remi-
nisce about the certain wel-
come that always awaited them
at the Jewellery Store where
friendly, dependable services
complemented their word of
honour. Changes that accom-
pany the passing years bring
memories, heartaches and sad-
ness for. the bygone scenes
Which we loved, but Faith and
Friendship give us strength to
go forward hoping that it is to
noble hands we throw the
"Torch" to carry on. May Hen-
sail's future days be blessed
by a continuance of the gra-
cious service heralded by our
loyal forefathers.
