The first 4-H meeting of
Hurondale 1 was held on Sep-
tember 11, at Thames Road
Church. This club, which is being
led by Mrs. Helen Hodgert and
Mrs. Anne Bray, is called "The
Third Meal". Thirteen girls
answered the Roll Call,
The election of officers was
held and is as follows: president,
Janice Stewart: secretary, Susan
Morgan: vice-president, Nancy
Alexander; treasurer, Janet
Bray; press reporter, Sylvia
Stewart.
The leaders demonstrated
making a pizza and it was served
for lunch.
The second 4-H meeting of
Hurondale 1 was held Monday
evening in the church basement.
At this meeting hamburgers,hot
onion bread, and shishkabobs
with a delicious barbecue sauce
were served. A tossed salad and a
freshapplewithfreshie completed
the meal.
An exhibit was talked about
and the committee was set up.
The commentator will be Sylvia
Stew ar t,T he third meeting will be
held next Monday evening,

About 140 people gathered at
Thames Road Church for the
Induction Service for Rev. Barry
Robinson, B.A.,B,D. Friday
evening.
Rev. Donald Beck, Hensel'
United Church and Rev, Glenn
Wright of Exeter United Church
were in charge of the service.
Rev. Glenn Wright gave the
sermon. Members of both
Elimville and Thames Road were
in the choir with Miss Agnes Bray
at the organ.
After the service everyone
went to the basement where
lunch was served by members of
both United Church Women
