In Strathroy Saturday af- ternoon, in their first starts of the • new season, the two Panther teams cam away with victories in. games which were played under two different sets of rules. One-half of each contest was played under current Canadian playing conditions of the Huron- Perth Conference and the other half went with American rules in effect. The South Huron juniors gained a decisive 35-8 win over Strathroy in the opentfig game while the senior boys edged their Strathroy opponents by a score of 19-16.
