The double-ring ceremony was
conducted by Rev, Glen Wright,
with music by Mrs. Frank
Wildfong.
Given in marriage by her
father and mother, the bride
chose a Victorian floor length
gown of white satin and chiffon,
trimmed with white lace and
baby blue ribbon. She wore a
sweeping chapel veil and carried
white gladioli with the feathered
look and trailing ivy.
Paula Day, Hensall, was the
maid of honor, Joanne Burke was
the bridesmaid and Lorrie
Murley was the junior
bridesmaid. They were dressed
alike in Victorian styled blue
chiffon floor length gowns, with
long sleeves, white lace trim and
turquoise ribbon. They carried
cascades of shasta daisies and
forget-me-nots.
Russel D. Burns was the best
man, and Stephen Murley and
Leslie Murley were the ushers.
Following a reception at
Exeter Curling Club the couple
left for a wedding trip around
Southern Ontario.
The bride's travelling outfit
was a blue metallic gown with
white accessories and a corsage
of white daisies and fern.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ray S, Murley, Exeter,
and the groom is the son of Mrs.
Avril E. Parkin and the late John
G. Parkin, Courtenay, B.C.
The couple will reside in
Courtenay, B.C.

wedding vows in a double ring
ceremony August 5, 1972. Rev,
Bruce Guy, Dashwood, con-
ducted the service at Zurich
Emmanuel United Church,
Nelson McClinchy, uncle of the
bride provided the music, with
David Janzi as soloist.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor
length gown of white silk
organza, with an empire waist -
line, A-line shirt and Victorian
neck-line. The dress was ac-
cented by an attached chapel
train, and had bishop sleeves
trimmed with French guipure
lace. A Juliet cap of guipure lace
and seed pearls held a two-tiered
French illusion veil, similarly
trimmed.
The bride carried a cascade of
pink baby roses, daisies and
stephanotis.
Dianne Dalton was the maid of
honor, and Joan Mizen and Diane
Nigh were bridesmaids. They
were dressed alike in floor length
blue gowns of crimpline, with
puffed sleeves and lace trim
around the neck. They carried
white baskets of multicolored
flowers centred with a pink rose.
The best man was Timothy
Harden and ushers were Ray
Finkbeiner and Murray Mizen,
Following a reception in the
church parlor, the couple left for
a wedding trip to Northern and
Eastern Ontario.
The bride's traveling outfit was
a long navy, red and white gown,
with red accessories.
The couple will reside in
Goderich,

changed their wedding vows,
July 15, 1972. Rev. John Beaton
conducted the service.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor-
length gown of polyester Raschel
lace over satin. It featured a front
pleat, lily-point sleeves and a
round neckline with front slit.
The elbow length veil was held by
a headband edged with beaded
lace. The bridal bouquet was a
cascade of red and peppermint
carnations with baby's breath,
ivy and fern and white
streamers.
Bridal attendants were Mrs.
Barbara French, Barbara
Dougall and Janet Hern. Robert
Miller was the best man, with
Wayne Hern and Alan Hern as
ushers.
Following a reception at
Exeter Legion Hall, the couple
took a wedding trip to the west
coast.
They ,are residing at R.R. 1,
Dashwood.

exchanged their wedding vows
July. 29, 1972, outdoors at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Webster, Waterloo St., Exeter.
The patio was decorated with
bells, streamers and baskets of
cut flowers for the service con-
ducted by Rev. R. H. Thynne.
The bride wore a floor length
dotted swiss voile gown with a
slight train from the neckline,
and long full sleeves with deep
cuffs trimmed in lace to match
the trim on the bottom of the
dress. Her headpiece was a
Juliette cap with shoulder length
veil trimmed in seed pearls and a
rhinestone ring.
The bridal bouquet was of red
roses and pink carnations.
Sandra Dodds, Huron Park,
sister of the groom, attended the
bride. She was dessed in a yellow
chiffon floor length gown. The
yoke and short sleeves were of
matching guipure lace,
Vernon Dodds of Huron Park
was the best man, and David
Webster and Ronald Harvey
were ushers.
The reception and buffet dinner
were also held on the lawn, after
which the bride and groom left
for a honeymoon to Niagara Falls
and surrounding areas.
The bride's travelling outfit
was a blue and white silk jersey
hot pant suit with a corsage of
white carnations and yellow
roses.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Jacobson, Victoria,.
B.C. and the groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harvey,
Huron Park.
The couple will reside at Huron
Park.

recently at the OHM
headquarters, Queen St. Twelve
members attended from
Seaforth, Clinton and Goderich.
The group was taken on a tour

Mr. & Mrs. Conrad Sitter left
Sunday morning for their home in
Deep River, Ontario. The first
week of their holidays was spent

past week was spent with Mr. &
Mrs, William Sitter, Thedford

Couple wed
25 years
The family of Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Bonthron had a surprise
party for their parents at their
summer home at Windy Hill, on
the occasion of their silver
wedding anniversary. July 21,
1972.
About 50 guests including
relatives, friends. and neighbors
were present from London.
Dundas, Toronto, Exeter. Lucan,
Hensall, Kitchener, Cromarty,
Grand Bend, A smorgasbord
dinner was served.
The following Sunday their
children entertained Mr. and
Mrs. Bonthron to dinner at the
new —Garage" restaurant,
London.
Gifts to the couple included
four silver birch trees, for their
home in Bayfield.
