Kirkton Garden Party on July 19

Mrs. George Dunn were on the
committee in charge of the June
meeting of the U.C.W.
Mrs. Lobb opened the meeting
with the poem "Vistigia." The
Scripture reading "The Great-
ness of God's Love" was given by
Mrs. Earl Haist. A reading "The
Shepherd's Psalm" was given by
Mrs. Chas. Rollings,
A solo "How Great Thou Art"
was sung by Mrs. Russell Wilson
with Mrs. Ken Hodgins playing
the piano accompaniment,
The Bible study "The Growth
of the Bible" was continued by
Rev. Beaton and closed with
prayer. A hymn was sung and
Mrs. Lobb concluded the Worship
service with a poem.
Mrs. Robert Blair presided for
the business and opened with a
poem. A letter was read from Mr.
Stanley in Senegal, Africa. The
Stanley family will be returning
to Canada in July. An invitation
to Mrs. Penwarden's Cottage,
Grand Bend in July was accepted.
A $10 donation was made to the
Retarded Workshop.
