Friday last. Judy's marriage to
David Newman took place in the
church on Saturday.

The afternoon unit of the
United Church Women met for
the June meeting last Thursday
afternoon. The worship service
was impromptu with hymn
singing, scripture read in unison
followed with prayer. Roll call
was answered by naming a child
of the Bible.
Mrs. Hodgson was responsible
for the study on Africa which
proved most interesting and
informative.
During the business, final plans
for the rummage sale were
made, Another donation of
Articles for Pakistan was ready
to be delivered to London,
Lunch was served at the close
of tne meeting.

Last Sunday it was a treat to
have in the Grand Bend United
Church choir loft a group of
young people singing from the
public school. They entertained
the congregation with several
fine musical selections.
The Rummage sale last
Friday in the United Church
exceeded $100.
