double ring ceremony. Mr. Pavicl

companied the groom's father
who sang "The Wedding Prayer"
and "Ave Maria" and "Walk
Hand in Hand."
Given in marriage by 'her
father, the bride wore a floor
length gown of white Chiffon. The
bodice with empire waistline was
highlighted by a victorian
neckline and full-length Juliet
sleeves, caught by a cuff,
enhanced with sprays of flowery
swiss guipure lace appliques, The
skirt formed its own cathedral
train, draping from mid waist,
To complete her outfit, the
bride wore a fingertip illusion veil
with a dainty headpiece made of
petals and flowers of the same

Richard Collens solemnized their
marriage vows at a service held
in Grand Bend United Church,
June 3, 1972,
Rev. Dobson conducted the
service, with music by Mrs.
Clark Kennedy. Marlene Rader
was the soloist.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a
long,white dress, with a smocked
lace top, and sleeves. The skirt
was chiffon over polyester satin
and she wore a waist length veil,
with a pearl beaded headpiece.
The bridal bouquet was of pink
roses, lily of the valley, with ivy
hanging down.
Jean Mason, sister of the
bride,was the maid of honor, with
Gayle Arbing, bridesmaid and
junior bridesmaids, Vicki
Desjardine, niece of the
bride,and Kelly Collens, niece of
the groom.
The senior attendants wore
long flowered gowns of purple,
gold, green and orange and
carried yellow roses and yellow
and white daisies. The junior
attendants wore long gold
dresses with flowered trim and
carried baskets of yellow and
white daisies and purple flowers.
John Meeuse was the best man,
and Bill Ferguson and Richard
Jennison were the ushers.
Following a reception held at
Ye Old Theatre, Grand Bend, the
couple took a wedding trip to the
New England States.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs,Robert Jennison, Grand
Bend, and the groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Collens,
Guelph.
Both the bride and groom will
be working at the Bank of
Montreal in Toronto, and will
make their home there.

The May meeting of
McGillivray Women's, Institute
was held in the township hall.
The President, Mrs. Wes
Lewis, opened the meeting with
Institute Ode followed by the
Mary Stewart collect, Roll call
was answered by "a custom I like
from another country."
The motto "Never return a
kindness. Pass it on," was given
by Mrs. Joe Carey.
Plans were made for a bus trip
to Frankenmouth, Michigan in
June.
A demonstration on making
soap was given by Mrs. Laverne
Allison and was enjoyed by all.
A gift was presented to the
retiring President Mrs. Tom
Kooy.
Lunch was served by the
committee in charge.

guipure lace. She carried a white
Bible with a spray of bridal pink
sweetheart roses and streamers.
Matron of honour was the
bride'saunt Mrs. Ralph Simpson,
Maid .of honour was Miss Gloria
Meyer‘ a cousin. Bridesmaids
were Mrs. Jack Taylor, sister of
the groom , Mrs. Wayne Love,
Susan Lilley;jtmior bridesmaid,
Nancy Kerby; and flower girl
Donna McFalls, all cousins of the
bride. They all wore floor length
gowns in pale blue chiffon made
similar to the bride's with white
daisies trimming the empire
waistlines, Each carried baskets
filled with pale blue carnations,
shasta daisies, baby's breath and
white streamers, All wore in-
dividual clusters of pale blue
baby's breath in their hair.
Best man was Jim Hayter.
Ushers were Michael Davis,
brother of the bride, Bob Hoff-
man and Bill Hoffman, brothers
of the groom, and George Keller.
Junior usher was Jeff Young,
cousin of the bride and Jeffrey
Taylor, nephew of the groom,

of white carnations and pink
roses,
Janis Eagleson, sister of the
bride was the maid of honor, with
bridesmaids Mrs. Bonnie
McNutt, sister of the groom,
Marlene Bullock, and flower girl,
Heather Browning, cousin of the
groom.
The attendants were dressed
alike in empire-styled gowns,
with gathered skirts. The dresses
of mauve polyester, had short,
puffy sleeves and were trimmed
with purple. The attendants wore
tiny bows in their hair, and
carried nosegays of mums and
gcaowrnnast,ions to complement their

seging June 3, 1972 for the
marriage of Lynda Kathleen
Fuss and Marvin James Bower.
Rev. .,Donald Beck conducted
the doable-ring ceremony, and
Mrs. John Turkheim was the
organist. Bonnie Mason was the
soloist. '
Given in marriage by'i, her
father, the bride wore a white
empire-waisted gown of peau de
soie, with long sleeves, and a high
neckline, complemented with
white daisy trim. Her cathedral-
length veil was held by a wedding
ring, and was trimmed with
white daisies.
The bride was attended by her
sister Cathy, maid of tiOnor,
bridesmaids Mrs. Joyce
McCarter, sister of the groom,
Dianne Adkins, cousin of the
bride,and Cheryl Fuss, sister of
the bride. The bride's cousin,
Sueanne Adkins, was the flower
girl.
The attendants were dressed
alike in long, empire-waisted
orange floral sheer over tafetta.
They wore yellow floppyl hats
with long yellow streamers, and
carried one yellow orchid; The
flower girl wore a long white
gown of peau de sole, trimmed
with a green velvet ribbon:

from Hawaii by the bride's aunt,

man, and ushers were Ken

After a reception at Zurich
Community Centre, the couple
took a wedding trip to Northern
Ontario. The bride's travelling
outfit was a red, white and blue,
print dress, with a white
sleeveless coat, and navy ac-
cessories,

and the groom is the son of Mr,
