Personals A fine clock bearing the words "Crediton Park" has been erected in front of the township office on Main Street. The clock and pole were donated to the municipality by Lloyd Hey, owner of the local garage and service station, Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Hey were in Indianapolis to see the running of the Five Hundred Auto Race. Dashwood Industries and Dufferin Hotel will play their home games at Huron Park while the Hensall club will play on the Hensall diamond and the two Exeter clubs, Custom Trailers and the Mainstreeters will use the diamond at Exeter Com- munity Park. Legion ladies aid charities Forty-nine members attended the regular meeting of the Ladies' Legion Auxiliary, May 29, with President Young presiding. In the business portion of the meeting, it was decided to donate $25 to the Cystic Fibrosis Association, $84 to "Save the Child" and $25 to the Legion Dart League. An invitation was accepted to attend the 27th birthday of the Goderich Auxiliary, and plans were discussed on the for- thcoming bus trip to Ontario Place in Toronto, June 14. The annual Past Officers Banquet will be held June 10. This special event is greatly an- ticipated. Elaine Baynham reported on the Blood Donor Clinic to be held June 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. She will accept any help with the phoning blitz. After the toast to the Queen a toast to the fathers was proposed by Chris Dye and replied to by Bob Galloway. Wilmer Wein conducted a singsong with Mrs. Dave McClure at the piano. Ron Bushell, District Representative from Goderich, spoke a few words of en- couragement to the group. Mr. McClure showed slides taken on trips, and aerial views of local towns, giving the Cubs a chance to guess the place presented. Rev. Mr. Warren told an amusing story of a bear hunt. Presentations were made, in appreciation of service rendered, to Mrs. Bill Johnson, Mrs, Walter Fydenchuk and Mrs, Alf, Smith. Mrs. Norman Eveland made the presentation to Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Wilmer Wein to Mrs, Fydenchuk, and Mrs. Warren to Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Johnson, who is moving to Winona, led the Cubs in the last grand howl, Don Gaiser, Dash- wood, moved a vote of thanks to the Women's Institute.
