home from Sarawak Malaysia,
where he has been teaching
under C,U.S,O, for two and a half
years.

host and hostess on Sunday for a
party to celebrate their son
Alvin's graduation from the
College of Agricultural
Technology at Centralia, and the
birthday of Mr. Dow's mother,
Mrs. Stanley Dow, Present were
Mrs. Roy Dow, Mitchell and Mrs.
Jeanette Coltman, Toronto, as
well as all the family of Mrs.
Stanley Dow and their families.
Ladies Aid
The Ladies' Aid meeting was
held at the home of Mrs. Gerald
Carey with Mrs. James Miller
presiding. The meeting opened
with a piano solo by Betty Anne
Miller.
Mrs. T. L. Scott gave a
meditation on Psalm 23 and it
was repeated in unison. The roll
call was answered by each
member showing the oldest book
in her possession.
The secretary's report was
given by Mrs. John Templeman
and Mrs. Eldon Allen gave the
treasur'er's report. The meeting
closed with a hymn and the
Lord's prayer.

Debra Newby, Andrew Street,
was hostess for the last meeting
of the season of Alpha Pi
Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi
sorority.
The event was in honor of
mothers and each member
brought her mother or a friend.
Every guest was presented with a
corsage.
During the evening baby
pictures were identified, games
played and poems read. A song
about mothers, composed by
member, Mary Ellison, was
sung.
The social committee con-
sisting of Mary Ellison, Wilma
Wraight, Val Callingham and
Joan Ball arranged the special
affair.
