The Exeter Times-Advocate, 1972-05-11, Page 15By MRS. HEBER DAVIS SAINTSBURY An overflow congregation attended the Centennial service at St. Patricks Anglican Church Sunday morning when Dr. H. Rokeby-Thomas was in charge of the service. Rt. Rev, Bishop Harold Appleyard was guest preacher and the choir of St. Pauis, Kirkton, with Mrs. Harold Davis organist, provided the music. The Bishop's staff was carried by Larry Lewis of Granton and the processional cross by Michael Davis of Saintsbury, TheBishop consecrated the new oak altar.The gift of a hymn book from Mrs. Archie Sinclair of Lucan in memory of her grand- mother Sarah Ann Lambourne was presented. The flowers were donated by friends. Refreshments and a social hour followed the service, in the Racey Memorial Hall. Guests and past members were present from Detroit, London, Dundas, New Hamburg, Seaforth, Grand Bend, Forest, Kirkton, Granton, Ailsa Craig Varna, Centralia, Lucan, Exeter and Stratford.
