The Revival Centre Sunday
School contest came to a con-
clusion last week and winners
were announced Sunday.
Taking first place was Mrs.
I-loward, Currie, then Mrs. Joseph
Graham, pang. Butler and
Barbara Shea.
Barbara was commended for
her efforts in bringing nine new
persons to Sunday School in one
month.
.\ new contest will be between
two teams rather than in-
dividuals. The winners will be
honored guests at the picnic
planned for June 10,
Sunday morning worship began
with Mrs. Roy Dykeman at the
piano and Robert Hohand leading
the singing.
Rev. Rees' sermon was entitled
"God's Love for His People,"
Communion was served following
the message.
Rodger Mason was speaker for
the youth service in the evening.
He spoke on the privileges and
benefits of Christian obedience.

The Exeter P.U,C. now has available a new waterheater
program that will ensure your family of an adequate supply
of hot water at a reasonable cost.
RENTAL WATERHEATERS are now available as well
as long and short term payment plans.
COMPEC HURON sales staff is now contacting
customers within the Town of Exeter to ensure that you
are made aware of waterheater programs that are now
available. These salesmen have identification cards and will
show them upon request.

project. The girls participated in

Drug Concern was guest speaker
at the United Church service of
worship Sunday. Next Sunday
being Family Sunday special
music by the Ropp Family will be
part of the service . The primary
Sunday School will be in at-
tendance assisting in the service,
and the sacrament of baptism

annual Anglican Church
Women's meeting.
A game was conducted by Mrs.
C. Beggar and the meeting closed
with lunch served by the hostess
and Mrs. p. King.
Friday evening, the wedding of
Andrew James Van Geel and
Nancy Ellen Hardy was
solemnized in Holy Trinity
Church. !The wedding banquet
was served by the ladies of the
Church in the Church Hall,
Sunday the flowers in the
Church were from the funeral of
the late Alexander Ramsay. Miss
Laura McKenzie and Master
Shane Williamson were
presented with the Junior Choir
awards for the month of April,
Rev. R. A. Carson preached on
the land. He' said the early
Church was concerned with the
day, the Sabbath; the land,
Israel; and the book, the Bible.
He said we in Western Ontario
are like the Children of Israel, we
are in a promised land. A land
that is without scarceness. We
should be thankful.
