Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Davis, RR 1, Centralia, are proud to announce
the engagement of their only daughter, Heather Marie to Mr. James
Gordon Hoffman, son of Mr. and Mrs, T. Harry Hoffman,
Dashwood. The wedding will take place, Saturday, June 3, 1972, at
3 o'clock at Trivitt Memorial Anglican Church, Exeter,

EXETER'S FIRST WELCOME WAGON HOSTESS — Mrs. Connie
Johnston, Exeter, having completed a course of training in London,
will be the town's first Welcome Wagon hostess. Her duties will
include welcoming newcomers to the area, visiting newly-weds, new
babies and bringing greetings from her sponsors on such. special

and Susan Hemmingway, cousin
and sister of the bride, were
charming flower girls in mauve
and blue flowered silk gowns with
shirred contrasting tops.
Best man was Bradley Page;
David Blais and David Parks
were ushers.
A reception was held after the
ceremony with Donald Welton
acting as master of ceremonies.
Following the reception the
bride donned a mauve and white
hooded pant suit for travelling on
the honeymoon.
She is the daughter of Mrs.
Norma Hemmingway and the
late Charles F. Hebert of Grand
Bend. The groom's parents are
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Holt, RR 2
Grand Bend.
The young couple will reside in
Grand Bend.
Prior to the wedding a shower
was given by Judy Parks.

Wearing a simple antique
white gown of crepe chiffon with
blue daisy lace insets, the bride
descended a wide staircase with
her attendants. She carried a
white and blue cascade of car-
nations and bachelor buttons and
was met in the lower hall by her
grandfather, Hugh T. Johnson,
who escorted her into a flower
filled living room where the altar
had been set.
Rev. Andrew Blackwell per-
formed the ceremony while
recorded wedding music was
played.
The bridesmaid, Mrs. Shirley
Is Page, wore a blue chiffon gown

The wedding of Wilson Garnet
Morley and Reta Ilene
McDonald was solemnized in
Exeter United Church parlors by
the Rev. Glen Wright, May 6,
with the immediate families in
attendance.
The groom's attendant was his
son-in-law, Coleman Bowman,
and the bride's attendant was her
daughter-in-law, Mrs. Margaret
McDonald.
The dinner reception was held
at the groom's home in Exeter for
relatives from London, Exeter
and Elmira. Assisting with the
reception were Mr. and Mrs.
Delbert Morley, London, Mr. and
Mrs. Edgar Squire.and Mr. and
Mrs. Ewart Pym of Exeter.

completes season
Zi Gamma Nu held its last
meeting of the season at the home
of Mary Jane Taylor.
The officers for next season
were installed. They are
president, Mary Jane Taylor;
vice-pres., Carol Reed;
treasurer, Pat Patterson;
recording secretary, Donna
Livingstone; corresponding
secretary, Elaine Bogart.
Plans were discussed for a
June social to end the year.
The new executive provided the
lunch after a game of Court
