Clandeboye couple, Mr. & Mrs.
Clarence Millson, celebrated
their 55th anniversary at two
events.
Saturday, their son Gerald and
his wife, commemorated the
occasion with a dinner at their
home for relatives from Ottawa,
Toronto, Kitchener, London,
Woodstock, Aylmer, Exeter and
Granton.
April 18, Mr. & Mrs. Milson
held an 'open house in their own
home when over 100 friends
dropped in to offer
congratulations.
Rev. G. and Mrs. Sach, former
minister of Clandeboye United
Church, and now of Gorrie, were
among the guests.
The Millsons have one
daughter, Mrs. Ruth Beckett of
Kitchener and two sons, Ralph of
London and Gerald of Clan-
deboye. They also have seven
grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
William Allwright
William Allwright passed away
in Victoria Hospital Tuesday
after a lengthy illness in his 70th
year. Mr. Allwright came to
Canada as a boy from Dr.
Banardo's homes in England. He
lived with Mrs. James Paton and
the late Mr. Paton and attended
school at No, 1 of McGillivray.
