Daymond staff
return to jobs
Most of the hourly rated em-
ployees of Daymond Limited at
Huron Park that were laid off two
weeks ago are back at work.
A company spokesman said
this week 19 of the 29 workers
were back on the job. The layoff
was blamed on a delay in
receiving raw materials from the
United States.
Materials are being received
more orderly and the other 10
workers are expected to be
called back to work next week.
Daymond manufactures
plastic pipe, conduits, vinyl house
siding, hot and cold water piping
and corrugated drainage tile.
