"Give me more time," we heseech, . as if it can be manufactured on sonic assembly line. To others, time hangs heavily on their hands. Some are bored with it. "Nothing to do," they complain. Ot one thing we can be sure . . Time is going to run out for all of us. A district clergyman phoned, after he'd read the column, to recount an hilarious episode of getting himself locked up under similar circumstances. Seems like he was travelling in the old country a year ago and just before the train pulled into his station he decided to make a quick trip to the wash-room. What I thought had happened to Inc, actually did happen to him and he found, to his horror, he couldn't budge the door. What to do? No one could hear him above the noise of the train and he had to get out before the locomotive pulled out of his station. This is where you separate the men from the women. Using his technical know-how, he took the top off the water tank, unhooked a piece of hardware to unscrew the screw-nails in the door hinges to get the door off and make his escape just before they pulled into his station. lie confessed he was extremely agitated by the whole affair.
