Gilroy 6 Watford District High School, Watford Sept 21 Interviews with the principal for assistance in planning a credit program for diploma purposes will be available in the schools concerned. 1) A COURSE MAY BE OFFERED IN ANY SCHOOL PROVIDED THERE IS A MINIMUM CLASS ENROLMENT OF 15 STUDENTS. 2) Classes are open to students who are 16 years of age or over and are not in attendance at a day school. Day school students wishing tutorial help, enrichment or program acceleration may apply for admission. Registrations by day school students in academic credit courses must be accompanied by written endorsement from the day school principal. 3) The registration charge for each student is $5.00 except for Driver Education where an additional cost of $30.00 is necessary to cover in-car instruction costs. 4) Credit for vocational subjects:. It is possible, by arrangeMent with the principal of the continuing education school concerned, to receive credit for vocational courses towards a Secondary School Graduation Diploma. 5) Academic credit courses may be used to progress towards a Secondary School Graduation Diploma (27 credits) or Honour Graduation Diploma (6 credits from the 5th year level). Mrs. Warren led in prayer and introduced the guest speaker. Clara Gaiser read the Scripture and Mrs. Roeszler chaired part of the proceedings. Shelley Weber played two numbers on her ac- cordion. Guest speaker was Miss Coralee Haist, Missionary from Hong Kong. Using the theme, Your Father Knoweth, she traced God's call in her life. Mrs, Ed Finkbeiner, president, conducted the business. She announced the purchase of tables in memory of Mrs. Sam Lamport and reported the June retreat at Camp Menesetung. MAN DIES SUDDENLY Mrs. Cliff Hill received word of the death of her brother Ed Haist at Pigeon, Michigan. September 5, Mrs. Hill enjoyed fellowship with Mr. & Mrs. Haist and with her sister Mrs. Leonard Damm and her husband of Cass City, Michigan, at the Haist reunion, Crediton. Upon his return home Mr. Haist died suddenly following a heart attack. Relatives and friends from the area attended the funeral of Harry Schwartz in Lucan Monday afternoon.
