The September meeting of
Kippen United Church Women
was held September 9 at the
home of Mrs. David Turner.
The meeting opened with the
worship, conducted by Mrs.
Edison McLean, developing the
theme, 'Responsible Steward-
ship.'
The president for the month,
Mrs. Ronald McGregor, con-
ducted the business part of the
meeting. It was decided to keep
only the month of February to
visit the Queensway Nursing
Home weekly, instead of two
months. A fowl supper for
November 3 is being planned
instead of a bazaar. Numerous
reports were given.
A letter from Mrs. Stuart was
read expressing her appreciation
for the kindness shown her during
their five and a half years at
Kippen. A thank you note from
Mrs. Wm. Coleman was also
received.
Roll call was answered with the
name of a former minister at
Kippen.
