Miss Helen Hutton, London, was maid of honor, and Miss Marion Bendall, London, and Miss Sandra Maxwell, Hensall, were bridesmaids. They were gowned alike in yellow peau de sole designed similar to the bride's gown. They wore short veils and rosettes and carried baskets of Ante daisies and yellow mums. Robert Theil, Zurich, acted as the groom's best man and Robert Carlile, Hensel' and Murray Harlton, brother of the bride, were ushers. The wedding reception was held at the Lucan Legion with the bride's mother receiving guests in, a blue lace dress with pink and white accessories and a pink rose corsage. The groom's mother assisted wearing a turquoise double knit dress with white accessories and a yellow rose corsage. For the reception in the church parlor, the mother of the bride chose a turquoise Been dress with a matching three-quarter length lace coat, white accessories and a white orchid corsage. The groom's mother wore a mauve crimplene dress, white accessories and a white orchid corsage. The couple left for a honeymoon to be spent on the west coast and in the northern United States. The bride travelled in a pale pink brocade dress and coat ensemble, Jackie Kennedy style, white accessories and a white orchid corsage. On their return they will reside at RR 1 Kirkton. A honeymoon in the Laurentian Mountains followed the wedding Saterday of Janis W. Gill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Gill, Grand Bend, and Ronald Neil Wardle, son of Mr, and Mrs. T. Harry Wardle, London, in St. John's By The Lake Anglican Church. Rev. Insley officiated amid pyramid arrangements of Aosta mums and yellow baby mums. Mrs, Helen Kleinstiver, Dashwood, accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Ann Marie Hoffman, Dashwood. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of silk organza over taffeta in a sleeveless A-line style featuring an empire waist. An elbow-length cape extended into a chapel train completely edged with six-inch scalloped alencan lace. Her shoulder-length French illusion veil had matching lace appliques. She carried a trailing cascade of shasta daisies and three white orchids. Bridal attendants were Rose Marie RosS, Wingham; Patti Glenn, Grand Bend; and Janis Duggan, Kitchener. They wore sleeveless floor-length gowns of daffodil yellow in sheath style of lace over crepe. A back drape on each gown formed a crepe-lace lined coat. They wore matching yellow shoes and real white shasta daisies in their hair and carried smaller cascades of shasta daisies. John G. Reep, St. Catharines, was best man. Paul Wardle, London, and Peter Gill, Grand Bend, were ushers. The wedding dinner was served at the Green Forest Motel. Among the guests was the bride's 86 year-old grandmother, Mrs. Esther Parks of Liverpool, England. A reception and dance followed at the Canadian Legion Hall. For travelling, the bride changed to a sleeveless ,silver grey silk shantung dress, raspberry bow hat, purse and shoes and an orchid corsage which matched her accessories. They will live in Windsor. White ribbons and yellow daisies decorated the.pews where guests from Toronto, Harriston, Exeter, London, Kirkton and Ailsa Craig were seated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lee, RR 2 Ailsa Craig and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John McElrea, RR 1 Kirkton. • Doug Lewis played traditional wedding music and Mrs. Reeeell Lee and Mrs. Ross Mathers, Exeter, sang Wedding Prayer and Walk Beside You. On the arm of her father, the bride looked stunning in her floor-length weddinggown of white organza over taffeta. The empire bodice was accented by a scoop neckline and short sleeves. The fitted taffeta skirt with an overskirt of organza to give the "cage" effect was enhanced by a cathedral-length train which draped gracefully from the shoulders to the floor. Delicate appliques of daisies were scattered over the gown and train and a row was used as a band at the high waist. To THURS. FRI. & SAT. Naga- 1:vtlert Ontario Street United Church in Clinton was the scene recently for the wedding of Madalene Eileen Garrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Garrett, Clinton, and Robert Earl Munn, son of Mrs. Beatrice Munn, RR 2 Staffa. Rev. Grant Mills conducted the ceremony amid yellow gladioli and white and yellow shasta daisies. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of white lagoda with empire bodice accented by a high collar and long sleeves. The A-line skirt was enhanced by a chapel-length train, draped from waist to floor. Chantilly lace and guipure daisy lace with green centres was edged down the front of the dress and adorned the sleeves and train. To complete her outfit, • the bride chose a shoulder-length silk veil caught up by a Juliette cap of guipure lace. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Maid of honor was Miss Phyl Hossack, Seattle, Washington. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Linda Mathews, Woodstock; Mrs. June Jacobi, London; and Miss Joyce Munn, London. They wore full-length nile green gowns with high necklines accented with white French embroidered lace. They carried bouquets of white and yellow shasta daisies and wore matching flowers in their hair. Groomsman was Bruce Whitmore, St. Catharines. Ron Manson, Ottawa; John Jacobi, London; and Ron Crich, Clinton, ushered guests. Mrs. Margaret Whitmore, St. Catharines, sang The Wedding Prayer, May Each Day and The Lord's Prayer accompanied by Miss Lois Grasby at the organ. The wedding dinner was served in the adjoining church hall to guests from Seattle, Washington; Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto, St. Catharines, Woodstock and points locally.
