officiated at the ceremony amid
bouquets of daisies and white
gladioli. Organist was 0. Klaver.
On the arm of her father, the
bride looked stunning in her
floor-length wedding gown of
white lagoda. The bodice was

neckline, an empire waist and
short puffed sleeves. The most
delicate imported Swiss guipure
lace formed appliques strewn
throughout the bodice
silhouetting the sleeves, the
neckline and the empire waist.
Elegance was portrayed in the
gently controlled A-line skirt
extending at the back to form a
romantic cathedral train. To
complete her outfit the bride
wore a French silk illusion
fingertip veil caught up by a
headpiece of the same Swiss
guipure lace petals. She carried a
bouquet of shasta daisies with
yellow roses and trailing white
ribbon.
Maid of honor was Miss Alix
Dickson, RR 6 St. Marys.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jayne
DeWeerd, Kitchener, and Miss
Hilje Knot, Markham. They
provided a colorful background
in their gowns of maize Swiss
dot. Short puffed sleeves,
scooped necklines and empire
waistlines made way for the
elegant A-line skirts. Delicately
ruffled chantilly lace trimmed
the waistlines and surrounded
the panels falling from the back
necklines. To add a final touch
to their ensembles, they all wore
matching floral headpieces and
carried shasta daisies and trailing
white ribbon.
Miss Susie VanSoest, niece of
the groom as flowergirl wore a
gown similar to those worn by
the senior attendants. Small
daisy appliques were strewn
throughout the entire gown and
she carried a basket of daisies.

Brunsma.

with matching navy blue
accessories and a corsage of
yellow roses. The groom's
mother wore a turquoise knit
dress with matching white
accessories and a corsage of
yellow roses.
