The Legion bantams meet

playoffs with the first game
there on Wednesday at 7
o'clock, The second game is
slated for here on Friday at 7
o'clock.
The big attraction at the
arena this week will be the
Figure Skating Carnival on
Saturday night at 8 o'cloCk. This
is the big event for all the
members of the club from the
youngest to the oldest.
Since before the new year
members have been busy
practising the various routines
and dances, The theme this year
is "Springtime '69" and the
costumes are gay and colourful
to suit the occasion. So don't
miss the show of the season this
Saturday at 8 o'clock.
There was a big upset last
Saturday as the lowly Aces
played hockey as if it were the
final game of the playoffs to
beat the Hawks 2 to 1, John
Wuerth and John Gould each
scored a goal for Aces. Steve
Harrison a new addition to
Hawks was the only player able
to score on Jim Wildfong.
The second game between the
Jets and Flyers was equally
exciting as the Flyers eked out a
2 to 0 win over the Jets, Goal
tending in the Pee Wee league is
of a very high calibre and this
accounts for all the low scores
we have had this winter. Gordon
Wack and Noel Skinner were
marksmen for the Flyers.
In Novice play, Rangers
showing their best form of the
season defeated Boston 3 to 0.
This was only the fifth win of
the season for Rangers and gives
a good indication of what can he
expected in the playoffs. Steven
Athill, Brian Pym and Paul Van
Gerwen were the scorers for the
Rangers.
