Have ready a large dish of steadily boiling water, Set the puddings in the water, put on the dish cover and steam the puddings for three hours, If the water in the dish boils away, add more boiling water. When cooked, remove from water and set the puddings aside to get cool enough to handle comfortably. Puddings should slide out of the moulds when the cans are turned upside down. Lay the puddings on their sides to cool. When cold, wrap individually in plastic paper or bags. Store in the frig or in the freezer until Christmas.
