The Exeter Times-Advocate, 1968-10-17, Page 16ANOTHER LATE SCORE
The final Panther touchdown
came on a Burton to Tom Prout
pass play that covered 29 yards
in the late stages of the third
quarter.
The South Huron convert try
failed but Stratford was called
for being offside on the play.
Jim Hayter booted the ball
squarely between the uprights
on the second try to give the
locals the point that eventually
proved to be the difference in
the game.
With less than five minutes
remaining in the game, Ken
Hoffman completed a 13 yard
pass and run play for Stratford
Central to complete the game
scoring. The extra point attempt
failed giving the Panther's a
scant one point edge in the final
score.
