tended Achievement Day at Sea-

Plan banquet
for minors
The annual father and son ban-
quet of the Exeter Minor Hockey
Association ,will be held at the Ex-
eter Legion Hall, Friday night
May 10 at seven o'clock.
President Derry Boyle reports
that two former members of the
London Nationals now perform-
ing in pro ranks, Darryl Edes-
trand and Bob Cook are expected
to attend along with the Nats'
general manager Ebbie Bishop.
At the moment, Edestrand is still
participating in American league
playoffs with the Rochester Am-
ericans while Cook played in the
Western league during the past
season.
One of the highlights of the
evening will be the showing of a
brand new film entitled "Fifty
Years of Hockey."
Tickets for the banquet are
available from arena manager
Alvin Willert and all minor hock-
ey coaches.

LWML RALLY
The Stratford District Luther-
an Women's Missionary League
held their Spring Rally in Zion
Lutheran church Monday April
29, with the Dashwood League in
charge. The theme was "Do This
for Me". About one hundred and
twenty ladies attended.
Mr. Wm. Hunsberger of Water-
loo was guest speaker addressing
the ladies on the Children's Aid
and also telling them facts about
the new home for disturbed child-
ren in Kitchener.
