Exeter's RAP committee, sponsors of the bowling program, took care of the major share of the hot dogs, while the spit drinks and ice cream were donated by Tuckey Beverages and Bissett's, respectively. Ruth Durand, who. has been in charge of the minor bowling pro- gram for many years, directed the evening activities. The Jets blasted away with the ladies' league plaque for highest pinfall presented by ladies' pres- ident Audrey Z aehar. Members of the Jets are captain Linda Whit- ing, Dan Kerslake, Fiona Ken- nedy, Bryan Hearn. Jean Simp- son and Lorne Brock. Mrs. Z achar also presented the men's league plaque to the top pinfall team in bantam bpys play, the Comets, comprising captain Randy Tiernan, Lynne Farquhar, Cathy Boltzmann and Judy Fer- guson. Mrs. Lois Snell presented the Amos Darling plaque for high average bowlers in all leagues and it was accepted by Jack Darling. Trophies weren't confined to the best bowlers as Jean Scott and Marg Triebner presented awards to the most improved bowlers in each division.
