beans at the Hensall dump, the Exeter fire brigade was called out Tuesday to fight the fires. However $
they ran out of water before the task could be completed and had to give up. Hensall Reeve Minnie Noakes
said she hoped council would take some action at their next meeting to correct the situation, which has

Easter lilies was the setting for
the 1JCW April meeting. Presi-
dent Mrs. Thos Brintnell pre-
sided and opened with a poem
"An Easter Wish".
Mrs. Wm Brintnell presented
the worship service, assisted by
Mrs. Alvin Cole, Mrs. R. Mac-
Donald and Mrs. R. Taylor Jr.
Mrs. Earl Kinsman favoured with
a reading, "The Meaning of East-
er". Mrs. H. F. Currie gave
the Bible study and Mrs. A. Ross
contributed a piano solo, "The
Holy City".
The ladies were reminded of

sail, Wednesday, April 17 with
Mrs. Grant MacLean as hostess

and three new members joined.

Funeral services for the late
William I. Wilkinson of London,
a former resident of Chiselhurst,
who passed away at the Dearness
Home, London, Friday, April 19,
were held from the James M.
Carrothers and Son Funeral
home, London, Monday. Inter-
ment was in McTaggarts cem-
etery, Hensall. Mr. Wilkinson,
who 'was 93, is survived by five
daughters and three sons.
