service was taken by Lori C rtidge,
of the other car escaped injury.
The double tragedy was felt
keenly by the staff and students
of Medway High. Seh001, for the
young man was a Medway gradu -
ate and was graduating from the
Guelph Agricultpral School this
year, while the girl was graduat-
ing from Medway this year and
had planned to attend the Lon-
don Teachers' College in the Fall.
Mr. Crouch is survived by his
mother, Mrs. Ethel (13 o well)
Crouch, Granton, two brothers,
George Crouch of Williamsburg,
Virginnia and William Powell of
Granton, also three sisters Mild-
red (Mrs. Mark Gorth) of Sarnia,
Elizabeth (Mrs. Peter Finch) of
London, Mary Rose (Mrs. Wil-
liam Elders) of Chatham.

her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lon-
son Randall of London Town-
ship, one sister Margaret (Mrs.

grandfather, Russell Small, also
of London.

David Elson, Nancy Park, Mari-
lyn Hearn, Vera Craig, Margaret
Anngoudy and Glen Worrell.
Touching as was the funeral
service, even more touching was
the scene at St. James Cemetery,
Clandeboye. An extra grave had
been purchased beside the Crouch
family plot for Miss Randall, so
the young couple could at least
be together in death. To climax
the sadness, Mrs. Crouch re-
quested that her husband's body,
which had rested in the mauso-
leum, since January 13 be also
interred last Wednesday. So into
the three adjoining graves, the
three bodies were placed.
Thorndale club
captures contest
Although the Lucan Jr. Farm-
ers had no entry in the Jr.
Farmers' 1968 Drama Festival,
they do rejoice that their friends
in the Thorndale Branch brought
honor to Middlesex, when two
weeks ago they won the County
award and last Wednesday night
at the Medway High School, went
on to win the zone award.
At Medway they competed a-
gainst winners from Lambton and
Huron counties. Their play "The
Long Christmas Dinner" by
Thornton Wilder, won them the
award, and two of their members
won the best actor and best act-
ress awards. Now they go on to the
