Flynn 276) 943 Federation backs unity • The Ontario Federation of Ag- riculture and the Ontario Farm- ers' Union will be asked"to pro- ceed with all haste" to work to- ward a single united farm or- ganization in the province. In a resolution passed during a directors' meeting, the Huron County Federation of Agricul- ture urged establishment of a "united voice" to speak for On- tario farmers. The resolution and a number of accompanying recommenda- tions approved by directors) are to be forwarded to a special 16-man joint OFA-OFU commit- tee meeting in Toronto on the question of unity. Local recommendations r e - sulted from a series of meetings between representatives of the Huron federation and the Ash- field Township OFU local.
