now taken a one game edge over
the Gorrie Red Wings in a best-
of-five series for the "D" grand
championship,

Tri-County league and qualified
for WOAA "D" ranks with a
population of lessthan 500.cred-
iton were moved into the Major
series because they were playing
successfully against teams with
populations of up to 1,000.
Crediton defeated St. Clements
decisively 8-3 in the final game
at the Exeter arena, Wednesday
and clipped the Gorrie Wings
10-7 on the same ice, Monday.
The second game of the series
was played in Wingham last night
and the third contest goes back
in Exeter, Friday at 8:30.
The Winner of the Crediton-
Gorrie series will meet the Mil-
verton Flyers for the WOAA
grand championship. Milverton
won the league's "C" crown by
ousting Wingham.
LAMB SINKS SAINTS

Lamb was the top goal getter for
Crediton as they ran roughshod
over St. Clements 8-3 to take
the series in seven games.
