APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED
by the Grand Bend Village Council, for the following positions for
the summer season of 1968.
BATH HOUSE ATTENDANT:
A person or persons to supervise, clean, and maintain the operation
of a bath house located on the main beach at Grand Bend, and su-
pervise the operation of the check room facilities, (the hours are
long, and during the past a husband and wife team has proven satis-
factory)
DOCK MASTER:
To supervise the operation of the Municipal Boat Docks located on
the north side of the Ausable River in Grand Bend.
LIFEGUARDS:
Three lifeguards required, six day week, 7 hour day. The Village of
Grand Bend is not interested in hiring Marilyn Bells' (in other words
swimming ability is secondary to common-sense, reliability, and a
thorough knowledge of the operation of a recusitator).
PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS:
To supervise the parking of cars at the beach parking lot on Satur-
days, Sundays & Holidays. (weather permitting)
Any applications MUST be CLEARLY marked as to contents and
either be in the hands of the Clerk by .5:00 p.m. April 1, or post
dated not later than April 29, 1968. All.positions receive more than
the minimum wage, and persons employed are covered by Work-
men's Compensation.
