The Exeter Times-Advocate, 1968-02-08, Page 5Claims bank unfair
Despite heavy rain, this man paraded in front of the Hensell branch
of the Bank of Montreal on Thursday and Friday. His placard charged
that the Hensall bank had been unfair to the unsecured creditors of
E. L. Mickle & Son Limited, who are now in bankruptcy. The man
refused to identify himself for photographers and bank manager Eric
Luther declined comment. The Times-Advocate, recently received a
letter from Lloyd Bag Co. Limited, Chatham, indicating that the bank
would be picketed. The letter also indicated a meeting would be called
of the unsecured creditors to discuss the manner in which the bank
acted. — T-A photo
