The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a white
German De Ball velvet gown
fashioned on empire lines with
stand-up roll collar and chapel
train. A wedding ring headoiecP
held her full-length veil of French
illusion. She carried a cascade
bouquet of white cymbidlurn or-
chids and trailing ivy,
Matron of honor was. Mrs.
Robert Stormes, St. Thomas, sis-
ter of the bride, gowned in sap-
phire blue velvet fashioned on
empire lines with scoop neck-
line and short sleeves. She car-
ried a hand cluster of white baby
mums with velvet ribbons.
Bridesmaids, Mrs. Jack Taylor,
Exeter, and Miss Bonnie McCrae,
London, were gowned similarly
to the matron of honor. Flower
girl, Susan Storrnes, niece of the
bride, wore white velvet with
full skirt trimmed at the waist-
line with sapphire blue and self
bow. She carried a nosegay of
blue mums and blue velvet
streamers.
Ted Cosens, London, was best
man and Jon Myers, London,
and James Howe, Windsor,
ushered guests.
The reception was held in the

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller,
Exeter, quietly celebrated their
56th wedding anniversary on New
Years Day with a family dinner
at the home of their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
James Miller, Woodham.
At the annual meeting of Caven
WMS held at the manse Mrs.
Lorena McInnis was presented
with a life membership in the
WMS by Mrs. G. Dow, home
helpers secretary, and Mrs. Car-
man Cann gave a similar certifi-
cate to Mrs. Norah Taylor.
Mrs. David Millar convened
the program and led in the de-
votional and gave a reading "The
Gift of the Magi" by 0. Henry.
Annual reports were given for
which Mrs. William Sillery pre-
sided. The officers for 1968 were
elected and installed by Mrs.
Harry Strang.

from steaming over, rub it with
soap, then polish.
CREAMY TURKEY CASSEROLE
1 1/2 cups uncooked broken broad
egg noodles
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tbl butter "
2 cups diced cooked turkey
2/3 cup (1 small can) evapor-
ated milk
1 (10-oz) can cream of chicken
soup
1 cup shredded cheese
• 1 (10-oz) pkg frozen peas, cook-
ed and drained
1 cup crushed potato chips
Butter a 2-quart casserole.
Cook noodles in boiling water
until tender; drain thoroughly.
Saute onion in butter until light-
ly browned. Add diced turkey,
• • milk, soup, cheese, peas and
noodles, blend well. Pour into
prepared casserole. Top with
potato chips. Bake in 425 degrees
oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
TURKEY A LA QUEEN

in a creamy sauce and is exciting
enough for company served over
fluffy rice—or omit the corn and
serve it on crisp buttered toast
for lunch in true a la King
fashion.
• • 1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 tbl flour

t 7/8 cups (1 large nap) evenors
aced milk
ltg cup water
l egg Yolk, beaten
p cups dined turkey
,(14./Pa) can WhOie kernel corn
2 tbl chopped pimento
Melt Ontter in medipm sauce
pan. Add onion and green pepper,
fry gently stirring occasionally
until tender, Blend in flour, salt
pepper and sage. Very gradually
stir in evaperated milk and water,
stir small amount of sance into
egg yolk, return yolk mixture to
remaining sauce. Cook over med.,
ium heat stirring constantly until
smoothly thickened. Add and mix
in turkey, corn and pimento. Heat
thoroughly.'
CRUNCHY HAM CASSEROLE
Crunchy Ham Casserole brings
new life to ham, The secret here
is in the crunchy tangy topping of
chow mein noodles and grated
Parmesan cheese.
2 (10-oz) pkgs frozen French
style green beans
1 (10-oz) can cream of mush-
room soup
2 tbl finely-chopped onion
3/4 cup cold water
3 tbl flour
1/2 tp salt
1/8 tp pepper
1/4 tp sage
1/2 cup skim milk powder
2 cups diced cooked ham
2 tbl grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup canned chow mein noodles
Cook green beans until tender
crisp; drain. Combine soup, onion
and water. In saucepan combine
flour, salt, pepper, sage and skim
milk powder. Gradually stir in
soup mixture. Cook over medium
heat, stirring constantly until
sauce is smoothly thickened. Stir
in ham.
Place a layer of beans in
bottom of 2-quart greased cas-
serole and cover with meat sauce.
Top with another layer of beans
and add remaining sauce.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake in
a 350 degree oven 25 minutes.
Top with noodles and bake 10
minutes longer.
