The groom's mother assisted wearing a lime green textured brocade dress with beige and white accessories and cor- sage of white and pink roses. For travelling to the west coast the bride wore a white jersey knit two-piece dress with navy accessories and corsage of red roses. On their return they will re- side on Huron St., Exeter. The schools begin at 10am and finish at 4 pm each day. The course emphasizes color and arrangement that will help create an attractive, restful and convenient bedroom as well as the making of accessories. Some of the topics studied will be bias piping, blind hemming, the mitred corner and Italian hemstitching. Group loses 727 pounds Tuesday, August 15 the Cen- tennial Slimmers (the local TOPS) crowned their third queen, Mrs. Nellie Trott of Grand Bend. Mrs. Trott, who has only been a member for six months, has lost a total of 32 pounds. She was pre- sented with a corsage and jewel- lery. The two previous queens, Mrs. J. Johns and Mrs. H. Wells are still working as hard as the rest at knocking off a few more pounds. At last Tuesday's meeting members took inventory and it was found the 27 members had lost a total of 727 1/2 pounds.
