day, August 12 at 2 pm with

and candelabra with blue candles
formed the setting for the cere-
mony. Mrs. Frank Wildfong, Ex-
eter, played the wedding music
and accompanied the soloist, Mr,
G. Burrows, Timmins, who sang
The Lord's Prayer and The Wed-
ding Prayer.
Given in marriage by her father
the bride wore a white satin
sheath with flowered lace over-
dress and cathedral train trim-
med with bridal buttons. Seed
pearls trimmed the neckline of
her dress and the flowers of her
veil. She carried a cascade of
glamalias.
Maid of honor, Miss Shirley
The bride was feted at showers
given by Miss Elizabeth Gosar
and Mrs. G. Northcott, Exeter.
Mr. and Mrs. Gonder entertained
the wedding party following re-
hearsal Friday evening.
Sauder, Kitchener, and brides-
maid, Mrs. Shirley Pratt, Exeter,
wore blue floor-length gowns in
empire style with lace top and
crepe skirt. They carried cas-
cades Of white glamalias,
Bryan Hammond, London, was
best man and Jon Gonder and
Sandy Wilson, London, ushered
guests.
A reception was held in the
church rooms. The bride's
mother received guests in a blue
lace ensemble with pink rose cor-
sage and the groom's mother
chose beige lace with corsage of
pink roses,
For a honeymoon spent in East-
ern Ontario and United States
the bride travelled in a blue
linen coat and dress ensemble
with white accessories.
The couple will reside in Sel-
kirk, Ontario, where both are
teachers.
A cablegram of congratulations
was received by the bride and
groom from the former's grand-
mother, aunt and uncle in Stock-
port, England.

Ina double ring ceremony in
Brinsley Anglican Church on Sat-
urday, August 5 at 3 pm, Miss
Mary Linda Windsor, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Windsor,
RR 3 Ailsa Craig, became the
bride of Duward Milton McAdams,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton
McAdams, RR 3 Zurich with
Rev. G. Jackson officiating.
Baskets of gladioli, mums and
carnations formed the setting
for the occasion. Mrs. Harvey
Hodgins, RR 2 Ailsa Craig, fur-
nished the wedding music.
Given in marriage by her father
the bride wore a white sheath
dress of Chantilly lace over taf-
feta and coat of tulle with a
panel of the lace falling into a
slight train. Her bouffant veil
was of silk tulle. She carried
a cascade of pink roses, white
carnations and ivy,
Miss Scarlett Young, RR 8
Parkhill, was maid of honor
wearing a yellow sheath dress of
Chantilly lace over taffeta with
matching headdress. She car-
ried a cascade of bronze and,
yellow mums. Miss Debbie Wind-
sor, Lucan, niece of the bride,
Lucan, as bridesmaid, was gown-
ed similarly to the maid of honor.
Lynn Doerr, Goderich, was
best man and James Windsor,
brother of the bride, ushered
guests.
A reception was held at the
Dashwood Hotel where the bride's
mother received guests in a two-
piece dress of metallic blue bead-
ed brocade, black and white ac-
cessories and the groom's
mother assisted in a blue and
white sheath dress, navy and
white accessories. Each wore a
corsage of pink carnations.
For travelling inWestern Can-
ada the bride wore a navy sheath
of chiffon over taffeta with white
accessories and corsage of white
and pink carnations.
The couple will reside in
Zurich.

Mrs. Joseph Barnes of Saska-

They wore gowns of aqua blue
peau de sole, fashioned on empire
lines. Enhancing their full-length
gowns were white gloves and
pearls. Three roses of material
to match their gowns held their
brief, petalled veils and they
carried bouquets of pink and
white carnations.
Lyle Beatson was his brother's
groomsman and ushers were
Ralph Pitt of Cargill, brother-in-
law of the groom and George
Snelgrove of Hyde Park, brother
of the bride.
A reception was held in the
Hyde Park United Church Hall.
For her daughter's wedding, Mrs.
Snelgrove chose a pink crepe
dress and lace coat ensemble
with matching accessories and a
corsage of baby pink roses. The
mother of the groom chose a jade
green dress of organza over taf-
feta with an organza cape and
matching jade accessories. She
wore a small white gardenia
corsage.
When the couple left on a
honeymoon to Banff and Lake
Louise, Alberta, the bride was
wearing a light blue crepe dress
and lace coat ensemble with white
accessories and a corsage of
pink and white carnations.
Entertaining in honor of the
bride prior to her marriage were
Miss Helen Godwin and Miss
Nora Webb, Mrs. Norah Faulkner
in her home, Mrs. Malcolm Fow-
ler and Mrs. Ken Fowler and the
staff of Biddulph Central School,
The groom's parents entertained
the wedding party at a rehearsal
dinner in their home.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Tweddle,
Ailsa Craig. The groom is the
son of Mr. Stephen Foerster,
London and the late Mrs. Edna
Foerster.

father, the bride chose a street
length gown of white crepe with
matching lace jacket. The bride's
shoulder length veil of silk illu-
sion was caught up by lace petals.

urday, July 29 at 3 pm for the
double ring ceremony of Barbara
Elizabeth Mellin, second daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Russell G.
Mellin of Dashwood, RR 2 and
Larry Richard Wein, only son
of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wein of
Dashwood.
The ceremony was solemnized
by Rev. G. E. Morrow and Miss
Evelyn Curts, RR 3, Parkhill
provided the wedding music and
accompanied the soloist, Mr.
Kenneth Flear of London, who
sang "The Wedding Prayer" be-
fore the ceremony, "The Lord's
Prayer" during the ceremony and
"Because" during the signing
of the resister.

the bride chose a floor-length
gown fashioned from Italian silk
faille on A line style with above
the elbow sleeves. French lace
applique accented bodice and bot-
tom of skirt. The detachable lace-
edge chapel length train fell from
her shoulders. A floral cluster
held her four-tiered French il-
lusion facer veil in place. She
carried a cascade of yellow but-
terfly roses, stephanotis and
trailing ivy.

maid of honor wearing a floor-
length gown of blue logoda crepe
on A line style with applique
accenting the empire waist. She
carried a cascade of white shasta
daisies, yellow butterfly roses
with white streamers to the floor.

guur, Springfield, Mrs. Murray
Hamilton, RR 2 Thedford, sister
of the bride, Mrs. Edward Glavin
RR 3 Lucan, were dressed simil-
arly to the maid of honor. Each
wore matching rosette head-
pieces acconted by cocktail veils.
